New Parish Resource
Last night Parish Council approved the St. Philip Parish Ministry Clusters as a way for us to see all the ministries and activities that make our church a vibrant and caring community to be a part of.
We will use this framework in a number of ways over the next months, including to demonstrate to any pastor who might be called to coming to our parish who we are as a people of God, and what it is that we are committed to in promoting his 'Kingdom on Earth’.
Over the next few weeks we’ll also use this document as a check list for the reports due for our AVM March 5th. If you see your name attached to any of these ministries and activities please provide us with your proofread report by the end of the month, Jan. 31. It may only be a couple of sentences long, and that’s okay. Please provide a description - a sentence or two about your Ministry, the purpose of this ministry and include any highlights or significant events from the past year. This AVM Report will be a significant way in which we can show potential Pastors who we are, how we worship, what we do, what we value, and our commitment to spreading God’s promise out into the world. It will form a significant part of our information package.
We are blessed to be part of such a gifted, giving and loving community and we are blessed to be able to participate in a community willing to share of ourselves.
