On January 13th, the PWRDF announced a committment of $50K in emergency grant funds to benefit some 12 Indigenous communities in Northern Manitoba currently experiencing states of emergency. These funds will help ensure they have medical masks as well as cleaning and disinfecting supplies.  PWRDF is partnering with IPAMN (Indigenous People’s Alliance of Manitoba-North) who will also continue their good work of supporting communities with food hampers, educational supplies, and delivering food to those who are in lock-down. They said they will deliver the health supplies PWRDF is sending along with those hampers.
